- Three carrying configurations allow the bag to be used as a backpack, a shoulder bag or a duffel, and all straps tuck away when not in use; external lash points add the ability to accommodate more gear

This bag is a little over the limit for Air Canada, Delta, Flair Airlines, Porter Airlines and WestJet. Some airlines are stricter than others, so you may not have any problem in practice, but technically it wouldn't qualify as carry-on there.
