Toronto or The Centre of the Canadian Universe?

Toronto takes a lot of heat/hate for being the centre of the Canadian universe - but hey - no one said being #1 was easy! When visiting on business, keep your fingers crossed that meetings are downtown and you aren't held captive at the airport environs, as you will otherwise look around and think "what is this place?".

Once you make your way into Toronto downtown (it's possible by train from the airport), you will be at the centre of North America's 5th largest city, and quickly understand what makes travel to Toronto so likeable. The secret? Shwarma. That and great watering holes. But seriously, if you step outside the Drake and have a chance to wander around on your way to Kensington Market, you quickly discover fantastic little boutiques, vintage stores and great bagels (who knew?). Dining & drinking are made easy everywhere in Toronto, so be sure eat and drink your fill.
