Another one of Canada's cities that is split over a major waterway, Halifax has much to offer the Maritime traveler. Take a walk up to Citadel Hill to grab a view of whats before you, or visit at night for a haunted ghost tour. If you're curious about what's across the seaway, a short ferry ride will take you to Dartmouth, where there are tons of shops and restaurants. And if Dartmouth sounds familiar to you, It's because it is the home of Canada's favourite trailer park dwelling trio.

If you're looking to spend some time outdoors, but want to stay close to the city, Point Pleasant Park is a massive outdoor space located on the tip of town, and has great views of the ocean.
